– ECM/PCM Programming error – Faulty or wrong ECM/PCM The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: DTC P0630 is set when the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is not stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or the input VIN is not accurate. Input the VIN with the hand?held tester.
