– ECM/PCM calculation function is malfunctioning. – ECM/PCM memory system is malfunctioning. – ECM/PCM self shut-off function is malfunctioning

– ECM/PCM Harness power supply circuit is open or shorted – ECM/PCM Harness ground supply circuit is open or shorted – ECM/PCM may be faulty The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
